Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the ILS Cleaning LLC website and any residential or commercial cleaning services requested, booked, or provided through ILS Cleaning LLC.

Last updated: July 27, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

In these terms, “ILS Cleaning,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to ILS Cleaning LLC. “Client,” “you,” and “your” refer to the person or organization requesting or receiving services.

By using this website, submitting an estimate request, approving an estimate, booking a service, or allowing a scheduled service to begin, you agree to these terms and to any written estimate, service plan, invoice, or booking confirmation associated with your service.

If a written estimate, service plan, or commercial agreement contains terms that differ from this page, the terms in that written agreement will control for that particular service.

2. Estimates and booking

Estimate requests submitted through this website are based on the information you provide, including the property type, approximate size, condition, occupancy, requested service, priority areas, scheduling preferences, pets, and special instructions.

We may request photographs, additional information, or an in-person or virtual walkthrough before confirming the scope and price. Walkthroughs may be required for larger properties, commercial spaces, unusual conditions, or customized cleaning plans.

An initial estimate is not a confirmed booking. Your service is booked only after the scope, price, date, and applicable scheduling details have been approved and confirmed in writing.

If information supplied during the estimate process is incomplete or inaccurate, or if the property's actual size or condition differs materially from what was described, we may revise the estimate before beginning or continuing the service.

3. Service scope and requested changes

Cleaning services are performed according to the written estimate, service checklist, customized plan, or commercial agreement approved for the property.

Services, rooms, surfaces, appliances, add-ons, or tasks not listed in the approved scope are not automatically included. Requests made on the day of service may require additional time, an updated price, or a separate appointment.

We may decline a requested task when it is unsafe, outside the agreed scope, likely to damage a surface or item, or not reasonably considered a cleaning service.

4. Scheduling, arrival windows, and changes

Service dates and arrival windows are subject to availability and are confirmed during booking. An arrival window is an estimated time range, not a guarantee of arrival at an exact minute.

Traffic, weather, emergencies, earlier appointments, staffing, or conditions outside our reasonable control may affect arrival times. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you when a substantial delay or schedule change occurs.

You may request to cancel or reschedule by contacting us as early as reasonably possible. Rescheduled appointments are subject to availability.

Any applicable cancellation, rescheduling, lockout, deposit, or late-payment requirement must be disclosed in your written estimate, invoice, service agreement, or booking confirmation before it applies.

We may reschedule or cancel a visit because of unsafe conditions, severe weather, illness, unavailable access, utility interruption, or another circumstance that prevents the service from being completed safely.

5. Property access and security

You are responsible for providing safe, timely, and lawful access to the property during the confirmed service window. Access arrangements may include a key, lockbox, entry code, building authorization, or an authorized person who can admit the cleaning team.

Please ensure that access instructions are accurate and that alarms, gates, elevators, parking permissions, and building procedures have been addressed before the visit.

Keys, access codes, alarm information, and other entry instructions should be provided only through an approved communication method or client account. You must notify us promptly when access information changes.

If we cannot enter the property or safely begin service, the visit may need to be shortened, rescheduled, or cancelled.

6. Client responsibilities and property preparation

To help us perform the agreed service safely and efficiently, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the property and requested work.
  • Disclose known hazards, damaged surfaces, unstable fixtures, pests, mold, biohazards, construction debris, or other unusual conditions.
  • Identify rooms, cabinets, equipment, documents, or personal items that are off-limits.
  • Secure firearms, medications, confidential records, cash, jewelry, collectibles, and other valuable or sensitive items.
  • Pick up excessive clutter, clothing, toys, dishes, and personal items when moving those items is not part of the approved service.
  • Provide working electricity, running water, reasonable lighting, heating or cooling when needed, and safe access to the areas being cleaned.
  • Inform us about delicate, antique, custom, recently installed, or specially treated surfaces before cleaning begins.

Pets

Please tell us about pets at the property before service. Pets that may become frightened, aggressive, or interfere with the work must be safely secured away from the cleaning area. We are not responsible for a pet leaving the property when the pet was not properly secured.

7. Service limitations and excluded conditions

Cleaning can improve the appearance and condition of a space, but it cannot reverse permanent damage, ordinary wear, discoloration, etched surfaces, corrosion, deep staining, deterioration, failed finishes, or defects caused by age, construction, installation, or prior treatment.

Unless specifically approved in writing, standard cleaning services do not include:

  • Mold remediation, pest removal, or hazardous-material removal.
  • Cleanup involving blood, bodily fluids, needles, human or animal waste, or other biohazards.
  • Heavy construction debris or post-construction restoration.
  • Moving unusually heavy furniture, appliances, or equipment.
  • Work at unsafe heights or work requiring specialized licensing, protective equipment, or restoration expertise.
  • Repair, maintenance, organizing, childcare, pet care, or property management services.

We may stop or decline work when conditions present a health, safety, property-damage, or legal risk.

8. Pricing, invoices, and payments

Pricing is based on the approved scope, property details, expected condition, service frequency, requested add-ons, access requirements, and other relevant information.

Payment amounts, accepted payment methods, deposits, due dates, taxes, and any other applicable charges will be stated in the written estimate, invoice, booking confirmation, or service agreement.

Additional work will not be added to the invoice without your approval, except where a written recurring or commercial service agreement already authorizes the work or adjustment.

You are responsible for reviewing invoices and notifying us promptly of any question or billing concern.

9. Recurring cleaning services

Recurring services may be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or on another agreed cadence. The frequency, scope, and price will be confirmed in your service plan.

A recurring plan does not guarantee that the same individual team member will attend every visit, although we may try to provide continuity when reasonably possible.

The condition and needs of a property may change over time. We may recommend changes to the service scope, frequency, expected duration, or price when those changes materially affect the work required. Any material adjustment will be communicated before it applies.

Either party may request to pause or end recurring service according to any notice requirements stated in the applicable written service plan or agreement.

10. Service concerns, breakage, and property damage

Please inspect the completed work and report any service concern as soon as reasonably possible. Prompt notice gives us a fair opportunity to review the issue and determine an appropriate response.

If you believe an item or surface was damaged during service, contact us promptly with a description and photographs when available. Please preserve the item and do not arrange repairs or disposal before giving us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the reported damage.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, ordinary wear, improperly installed or unstable items, manufacturer defects, or damage resulting from a condition that was not disclosed and could not reasonably have been identified before cleaning.

Fragile, irreplaceable, sentimental, or unusually valuable items should be secured or removed from the cleaning area before service.

11. Website and client account use

This website is provided for learning about ILS Cleaning, requesting estimates, communicating with us, managing authorized account information, and arranging cleaning services.

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, fraudulent, unlawful, or misleading information.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to an account, system, or restricted portion of the website.
  • Introduce malware, interfere with website operation, scrape protected information, or misuse website forms.
  • Use website content or branding in a way that falsely suggests an affiliation with or endorsement by ILS Cleaning.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for activity performed through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Website availability is not guaranteed. We may update, restrict, suspend, or discontinue website features when reasonably necessary.

12. Privacy and communications

Information submitted through this website is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

By submitting an estimate request, contact form, chat message, or booking request, you authorize us to contact you about that request using the contact information you provide.

Service-related communications may include estimate questions, appointment confirmations, access questions, scheduling updates, invoices, and follow-up messages.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services, website, business practices, or legal obligations. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will apply prospectively unless a different effective date is stated. Material changes affecting an existing written service agreement will be communicated or handled according to that agreement.

14. Governing law and enforceability

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms limits a right or responsibility that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
